Beachclubs in Nice — 9 of Our Favourites

Blue and white stripey loungers line up along the water's edge where the sea laps gently against the pebbles beach. Clear turquoise waters invite you in for a paddle or a swim, and the bay offers stunning views across the bay of Eze.

This beach club is also great in the evening for a sunset cocktail or dinner. There is a shuttle service available if you wish to moor your yacht in the bay and come inland for a relaxing day on the beach or a meal.

You are welcome here for sunbathing, lunch, coffee and dinner. The beach also has a children's swimming pool.

Opening hours of the beach: all year from 08:00 to 19:00 and from June to September in the evening. Sunbeds are available from 09:00 to 19:00. The restaurant and snack bar services are carried out on to the beach so that you can be served at your sun lounger if you wish.

The beach club is also available for private hire for events.

A modern beach club with a long history, it has been situated on the Promenade des Anglais since 1889. It sits directly in front of the building that is the 'Opera de Nice', the Opera House.

They are open daily from 09:00 until 20:00 and from June through the summer months they open until midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Mala beach was inaugurated in 1933 in memory of the dancer Mala who was the friend of the last Russian Tsar. This private section of the Mala beach has white sands, lovely beach furniture, a cocktail bar and a great restaurant, making it a good choice for a full day on the Mediterranean.

A private taxiboat is available for those who are coming by yacht.

Castel, is primarily one of the most beautiful private beaches of Nice. But it is also a restaurant that offers the opportunity to have lunch or dinner at the sound of waves.

Located at the foot of Rauba Capeu, establishment dominates the Promenade des Anglais and opens on the Bay of Angels to Antibes. At night, the view is simply exceptional, and you can enjoy a good Provencal cuisine. It has a busy vibrant atmosphere with cool beach furniture and a jet-setting cosmopolitan crowd.

Trendy Area: You will find that this area offers a lounge and VIP area, snacking tapas, a private beach and great DJs. Facing the sea with an outdoor bar, a brand new tapas and snacking area and sun beds, you will be “ cocooned” by the beach team in an atmosphere both intimate and unique. There is a resident DJ and the theme nights planned for the season.

Zen Area: With a restaurant, private beach, wellness area and delicious cocktails you can enjoy the sunshine and the outdoor restaurant area. Sheltered under the famous blue and white parasols, iconic of the Nice shoreline, or you can enjoy a double sun bed for lovers.

From May until September you can enjoy BR by Night.

• Every Thursday evening from 19:00 to midnight there is a festive and chic atmosphere.
• Every Friday night (from June to September) there will be various live music, singers, jazz, rock and reggae for your Afterwork evenings.
• Every Wednesday night (from June to September) there will be a selection of lounge and world music plus the new tapas menu to enjoy with a cocktail.

Sun loungers and parasols are available throughout the day and towels are also available to rent. There is also a good restaurant and staff serving you cocktails right to your sun lounger. What more could you ask for?

A boat shuttle service is offered for those arriving by yacht and you will find that a lifeguard is on duty to ensure your safety. WIFI is also available.

They have live music every Saturday and Sunday night, a selection of rock, pop, reggae and jazz. As well as eating, relaxing and drinking you can enjoy the beach clubs boutique, a massage or some Eden Fitness.

It's a prestigious spot on the Baie des Anges with a solarium and a good seaside restaurant. Food service is also available on the beach at your sunlounger.

They have a children's sea water swimming pool and a swimming instructor for making those important first few strokes. Private cabanas are also available and there hot showers inside and cold showers outside.

They are open from late February right the way through until late November. The restaurant is open 12:00-16:30.

Set in a cove at the cliff’s foot, the beach restaurant has evolved season after season, re-inventing and improving itself each year. Guests can enjoy the panoramic view of the Mediterranean sea while dining on this restaurant's private beach. They can also taste superb seafood specialities, such as calamari, tuna sashimi and tempura with shrimps.

You will a life guard on duty and sun loungers at your disposal. There is live music on certain days and during the busy summer season. A boat service is available for those who arrive by yacht.
