Nice in top 10 destinations of 2016
Tripadvisor releases their Travelers' Choice Top 10 Destinations
The well known website has published a list of the world's favourite tourist destinations, and when we take at look at France in detail we find that our beautiful city of Nice comes in at number two.
"The deep blue waters of the Cote d’Azur are the dramatic backdrop for elegant Nice. Breathe in the fresh Mediterranean air as you stroll the waterfront promenade, or get an eagle eye of the whole city from atop Castle Hill. The pedestrians-only Place Rossetti is the heart of the city, with a grand fountain, vibrant buildings, and the beautiful Sainte-Réparate cathedral giving it a provincial French feel."
Coming in just behind the country's capital Paris at number one, and in front of Lyon, Bordeaux and Marseille,. the city of Nice has been recognised for it's natural beauty on the coastline of the Cote d'Azur and for the cosmopolitan city centre which attracts around 5 million visitors each year.
