Nice Cote d'Azur airport want to reduce CO2 emissions per passenger by 50% between 2010 and 2020, with the aim to reach carbon neutrality by 2018.

They will also only use electricity obtained from 100% renewable sources in this new year 2016. Other measures include new electricity and air-conditioning systems for business jets and the introduction of electric shuttles.

Nice Cote d'Azur airport is the third busiest in France, with over 12 million passengers this year.
