Cote d'Azur Airport Aims To Be Carbon Neutral In 2018
Nice Cote d'Azur airport is taking steps to reduce their carbon footprint
Nice Cote d'Azur airport want to reduce CO2 emissions per passenger by 50% between 2010 and 2020, with the aim to reach carbon neutrality by 2018.
They will also only use electricity obtained from 100% renewable sources in this new year 2016. Other measures include new electricity and air-conditioning systems for business jets and the introduction of electric shuttles.
Nice Cote d'Azur airport is the third busiest in France, with over 12 million passengers this year.
