Village de Noel (Christmas Market)

The Jardin Albert 1er & Théâtre de Verdure turn into a fantastic Christmas wonderland for the whole of December with over 60 stalls selling crafts, an ice rink, ice sculptures and fairground rides.

There's little chance of you seeing any snow – it's so rare, the whole city would be talking about it for years – but it is a great way to spend a day. Thousands of people, tourists and locals alike will turn out to enjoy this celebration of all things festive and start (or finish!) their Christmas shopping.

With plenty of coloured lights, chalet style stalls, Santa and his elves and of course the traditional mulled wine this is a great escape from day to day life and get in the festive spirit.
